New Indonesia policy for Garuda
Garuda Indonesia has just joined other airlines in advising the industry of a revised policy for deferment of departures to Bali, in the light of heightened concerns about terrorism after the execution of the Bali bombers last weekend.
Garuda is allowing deferral and rebookings without fees for passengers departing prior to 31 December, with amendments possible up to 25 November 08.
Pacific Blue is also allowing changes for bookings to Denpasar to be made until midnight on Friday, for travel on or before 18 December 08.
Qantas yesterday issued a policy which allows passengers to change bookings without fees for travel to Indonesia on or before 16 November 08.
Jetstar is also waiving change fees for passengers wanting to move their travel to Bali up to 30 November 08.

It seems that the UK has relaxed its working holiday policy for Aussies & Kiwis to try and attract more young people to live and work in Britain for up to two years.
E travel Blackboard issue Thursday, 30 October 2008 advises this new scheme is to be announced on the 4th of November and will come into force on 27th of November.
